Break The Identity

This project is an exploration of identities and styles, of the way each person defines themselves visually. The subjects are everyday people, chosen for the singularity of their style. Drawing from the codes of ID photography, I give them complete freedom to subvert them and reveal, through a single shoot, their identity. A deliberate conceptual approach: the neutral background strips away all context, leaving room only for each person's physicality and style to bring the image to life. The series brings together a wide range of styles at very different degrees, some maximalist, others more understated.
