Échange épistolaire

Epistolary Exchange is a series of postcards made available to visitors. The visitor picks up a postcard and follows the two instructions printed on it: "Tell me your story" and "Confide in the stranger who will read your story". After sharing something personal on the card, they must place it in the transparent ballot box nearby. On the last day of the exhibition, the cards are randomly distributed to the visitors present. A mysterious portrait photograph appears on the postcard, reinforcing the idea of writing to and receiving a card from a stranger. The face of the person shown on the postcard is unrecognizable, which encourages us to open up. It is from this point that an epistolary exchange is created between two unknown people. The visitor may, if they wish, write their identity on the lines on the right-hand side. In doing so, they choose to potentially continue an exchange with this stranger. The desire to correspond concerns only the two visitors involved.
